I’m feeling pretty positive about my look today. Thanks to Fashion Sensei. I’m wearing Ann Taylor capri slacks and wrap top. I think they’re flattering, age appropriate and my husband says I look gooooooood. (Thanks, Sweetie!)

Okay…I can dream, can’t I?
I have to admit, it wasn’t until I turned 40 that I began saying to myself, while shopping, “Oh, how cute! But I’m too old for that.” I have crossed the age-conscious finish line!! But, in all fairness, I am really wary of clothes that might make me look matronly, too. You know those outfits that blink “grandma who thinks she looks stylin’”?
I figure, between the feedback of my teenage daughters and my honest husband, I’m not buying too much out of my age range.
(And if your husband tells you you look good, fancy, don’t dare tell yourself you know better! He’s the expert.)
