I’ve been thinking about blogging for quite some time now. I’m hip. I’m young. I should be keeping up with the times, right? Okay, I’m not so young, but that’s another story for another day. With some encouragement from one of my good friends, I’ve decided to take the plunge.
So, who am I anyway? Just as we all are, I’m many things . . . a 40-something year old woman who is raising 2 sons with an amazing husband, working full time, and trying to achieve the unachievable work-life balance. At the same time, I’m trying to embrace my 40-somethingness while hob-knobbing with the 20-something moms who are also raising a toddler. Oh yeah, and I need to start thinking like a teenager because my older son will be one before I know it. Whew! No wonder I’m worn out!
With this blog, I hope to find a place where I can record thoughts on a variety of things, make observations and even vent a little. With a toddler and a tween at home and a workplace full of knuckleheads, I have plenty of material to work with. If I happen to entertain or intrigue you along the way, then mission accomplished.
